Silvia Venegas Venegas

Silvia Venegas (Santa Marta de los Barros, Spain, 1982) is a director, producer and scriptwritter. Among his productions stand out “Kafana (Enough, Already!)” (2016), “Boxing for Freedom”, it has been selected at the European Film Awards 2015 for the Best European Documentary, “Prescription Art” (2015) and "The Children of Mama Wata" (2010). She has also produced “Words of Caramel” (2016), “Walls” (2014), Goya Award for Best Short Documentary and “Life Beyond the Battle” (2011). Her productions have been selected and awarded at festivals both nationally and worldwide. Silvia Venegas studied History at University Balearic Island, Journalism at Univeristy Carlos III and Media Studies at University Antonio de Nebrija. She was selected to take part in the Berlinale Talent at the Berlin Film Festival, in the IDFAcademy at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam and in the Foro Generator for young european filmmakers. In 2010 she founded the specialized in documentary film production and consulting company Making DOC. She is member of the European Film Academy.

Juan Antonio Moreno Amador

Juan Antonio Moreno (Talavera la Real, Spain, 1982) is director, scriptwritter and producer. Moreno has written and directed the documentaries “Boxing for Freedom”, it has been selected at the European Film Awards 2015 for the Best European Documentary, "Youth and Drugs" (2007), it has received the Queen Sofía Award in the Social Communication category, "Kosovo, the Last Scar of the Balkans" (2007), "The Children of Mama Wata" (2010) and "Kafana (Enough, Already!)" (2016). Juan Antonio Moreno has directed the short film “Words of Caramel” (2016) and he has also produced “Walls” (2014), Goya Award for Best Short Documentary and “Life Beyond the Battle” (2011). His productions have participated in more than 100 national and international festivals. Moreno has studied Journalism at University Carlos III, Library and Information Sciences at University Extremadura, International Relations at University Complutense and Script at Film and Television School in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba). He has been selected as a director to participate at the Berlinale Talents. In 2007 he worked as a journalist at TVE and in 2010 he founded Moreno the production and consulting company Making DOC. In 2011, the Carlos III University of Madrid gave him the Excellence Award for his career. He is member of the European Film Academy and the Spanish Film Academy.

We are an independent film production company specialized in DOCUMENTARY FILMS and SOCIAL BRANDED CONTENT. Since we began our work in 2010 we have gone for stories and projects that are worth being told.

Our DOCUMENTARIES have a universal nature, are unique stories that happen anywhere in the world. We focus on social issues with a human interest where protagonists are the true asset of our narrative. We also create educational and informative content.

We make SOCIAL BRANDED CONTENT for third-sector companies and entities. We offer our clients exclusive, original, cross-platform content, and a one-to-one service tailored to the needs of every customer. What sets us apart is our approach to our projects, our work methodology, our use of documentary treatment and the commitment that we establish with our clients, the protagonists of our stories and the audiences that they are aimed at.

At both international and national level festivals, television channels, companies and NGDOs have trusted us. The European Documentary Network (EDN) has selected us as one the twelve top production companies in 2012 and our documentaries have received the support of the MEDIA Program by the European Union and the Cinematography and Audiovisual Arts Institute (ICAA) of the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Spanish Government.

We have received the Excellence Award by the Carlos III University (Madrid). We have been finalists for the Entrepreneurship XXI Awards and for the Young Social Entrepreneurs Awards.
