SYNOPSIS

“40 years of Refuge” is a journey through the history of asylum and refuge in Spain. A story that began 40 years ago when the first exiled arrived. Since then, refugees from all over the world have sought shelter in Spain and in this documentary film they told us how have they rebuilt their lives. The Spanish Commission for Refugee Assistance (CEAR) has constantly worked to guarantee the rights of these people and to improve asylum and refugee policies. A story of essential fight in times of walls and unwavering frontiers.
