SYNOPSIS

Nearly 70 million people have fled far from their countries because they were persecuted there because of their race, religion, nationality, political views, social group, gender, or sexual orientation.

The Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) defends the right of asylum and offers protection to refugees since 1979. The exhibition “CEAR, 40 years of refuge” reflects the work done so far by the organization. The exhibition includes the screening of the animated short film “Refuge” and a chronology with the most relevant moments in the history of asylum in Spain made by Making DOC.
