SYNOPSIS

Can music, reading and photography soothe the pain felt by people with Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s disease? The documentary Prescription Art follows the evolution of Alzheimer’s and Huntington’s patients in music therapy workshops, photography and interpretation of literary texts. A pioneering experience that was carried out during eight sessions at the Hospital Ramón y Cajal in Madrid to verify the effectiveness of non-pharmacological therapies.
